The True Love:

I never understood man,
Perhaps never wanted to understand,
I tried to expand my heart to an extend,
And I still seem not to comprehend,
I played defense, and at times it didn’t make sense,
But never bothered to play offense, so I stayed tense,
And whenever the ball was played over my fence,
Didn’t bother to catch, and went back to my shell,
See in this way I never had to rebel, rather said “oh well!”
…and moved on with my life, without the need to dwell,
Some said I’m scared, but was more careless then dared,
Careless on being paired, care-more for being shared,
Complicated to be compared, and confused to be repaired,
I wasn’t willing to lose virginity for the sake of love,
Unless love, consisted of;
House,
Children,
Religion,
Good health,
….anything of the above,
I’ve tried to give myself some time, to think it through,
But Truth knocked on my door and said “I love you”

I’ve learned lessons without making mistakes,
I’ve learned love without the need of heartbreaks,
I’ve learned pain without being bit by a snake,
I’ve learned evil without the need to partake and fake,
I’ve found faith, due to my patience for destiny,
I’ve found love, because purity was precious to me.
